Shipping policy
Introduction
Your purchase of any of the products offered on the Site (Products) is subject to this Shipping Policy, our Refund Policy and Terms of Service (together the Terms) and by placing an order for any Product you agree to be bound by them.
We reserve the right to change these Terms from time to time by changing them on the Site, although no such change will affect any order you have already placed with us. This Shipping Policy was last updated on 19 May 2023.
Ordering
Products may be ordered by clicking on the items you wish to purchase and then following the prompts that will appear on-screen. After placing an order, you will receive an acknowledgment from us that we have received your order and giving you an order reference number (Order Confirmation). Please note this does not mean that your order has been accepted. All orders are subject to acceptance by us. Where we accept your order, we will confirm such acceptance by sending you a confirmation that your order has been shipped together with your tracking number (Shipping Confirmation).
The contract between you and us in relation to the Product(s) ordered (Contract) will only be formed when we send you the Shipping Confirmation.
Delivery
We will send you a Shipping Confirmation with your tracking number when your order is on its way. Homewares and handles usually ship within 2 working days, fabrics and wallpapers within 3 working days and lighting within 4 working days of your order being placed.
Your order will be delivered to the delivery address you specify when placing your order. Products comprised within the same order cannot be delivered to different addresses.
Please note if you have ordered a combination of in stock items and items that are on backorder, your order will be dispatched from our warehouse once all items are back in stock. If you would like to receive items as they become available, kindly contact us on shoppa@beataheuman.com to settle any additional shipping charges.
Deliveries Outside the UK
Our prices are shown inclusive of UK taxes by default. If you are outside the UK, taxes will be removed from our pricing when (i) you select a new currency in the header bar; or (2) at checkout once an international address is entered.
Your local taxes and any applicable import duties will be charged to you by the courier on import. You will be responsible for payment of any such import duties and taxes. Please note that we have no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount. Please contact your local customs office for further information before placing your order.
Large Items
If you order a large, heavy or bulky Product, you should check carefully, before ordering, that its dimensions (allowing for packaging) will allow it to pass freely through the doorways, corridors and if, relevant, stairways of the delivery address. Our courier will not be responsible for any additional carrying, unpacking or positioning of product(s).
Risk and ownership
The Product(s) ordered will be at your risk from the time of delivery or collection (as the case may be). Ownership of the Product(s) ordered will also pass to you on delivery or collection (as the case may be), provided full payment of all sums due in respect of the Product(s), including any delivery charges, has been received.
Inspection of Products
Please open and inspect your Products within 24 hours of delivery. If you believe a Product was delivered damaged or faulty, you should inform us as soon as possible, preferably in writing, giving your name, address and order reference. If you fail to promptly inform us of any issues with your order this may result in you losing any remedy.
