The Fancy Trunk and Disco Mohair
Introducing The Fancy Trunk, a handsome storage ottoman shown here upholstered in our new “Disco” Mohair - named after Beata’s cat.
Joyfulness & precision – step inside the home of interior designer Beata Heuman, where delicate details and beauty fill every corner.
Her philosophy that ‘every room should sing’ runs through all her work — including her Victorian townhouse in London, where she lives with husband John and daughters Gurli and Alma. We sat down to talk about her design practice, building a successful business while raising small kids, and how to elevate and balance your own space.

Our studio is set in a Grade II listed townhouse in Hammersmith. Our team works from desks on the first floor and the house also operates as a showroom for our Shoppa collection.
Visitors are welcome! You can book an appointment or attend one of our regular open days. We hope to see you soon.
Beata's new Interior Design course
Beata's BBC Maestro course on Interior Design is now available. The course is a distillation of everything she has learnt over the last 20 years, broken down into three sections: Principles, Process and Practice.
We hope it will be helpful and inspiring for anyone doing up their home!
