188 Picture Light Grön

The 188 Collection began as so many of our products do: we couldn’t find what we were looking for when designing our kitchen at 188 Hammersmith Road so we decided to make it ourselves. We wanted a practical and aesthetically pleasing spotlight with fully articulated points for maximum range and flexibility. Each spun aluminium shade is dotted with delicate circular perforations around the rim, casting a beautiful light which is not ‘in your face’. The collection celebrates our habit of mixing finishes. Bronze, zingy green, cool stainless steel and unlacquered, solid brass mingle with ease. What started as a practical solution has become some of the most admired lighting at 188 and our most-used across our design projects. And for our American friends, US versions have been designed to fit with J-Boxes and are UL listed.

The 188 Picture Light illuminates pictures and paintings with a little more personality than most. It is mounted to the frame of your artwork rather than fixed to the wall giving you plenty of flexibility with changing the height, or your artwork in the future. Each light comes with 1.5m of flex and is hard-wired into a clock point.
