Insjöns Hallon
Our Insjöns fabric is a celebration of Swedish weaving tradition. Woven on century old shuttle looms in a small town in Sweden, the intricate and iconic Daldräll pattern is created with a special blend of cotton and linen that produces a sturdy, elegant fabric that can be washed hundreds of times without losing its integrity.
Traditionally used for tablecloths and tea towels, we have reimagined this beautifully unique design to be sold by the metre in the colours “Hallon” (raspberry) and “Smör” (butter), each with a midnight blue large, chequered repeat running through the weave.
The fabric is practical and versatile. It can be used for domestic upholstery, makes lovely unlined curtains and blinds and is ideal for sink skirts too as you can easily put it in the wash when needed (please see our cleaning instructions for directions).
‘’Hallon’’ (raspberry) is Insjöns doing punk – a zingy colour that adds a hint of rebellion whilst steeped in tradition.
