Sherry Dining Chair

The Sherry Dining Chair is an homage to our favourite Gustavian predecessor - it was excellent in 1770 - it is excellent now. Following the human form it is both comfortable and sophisticated and an expression of how Swedes interpreted rococo within their means and sober tastes. Our version is made entirely in England using tulip wood which is lightweight, stable and most suitable for all of Sherry's hand carved elements. The frame is hand painted in colours from our The Dependables collection. 

The seat is upholstered using all natural materials: jute webbing, rubberised horsehair, wool interliner and cotton felt. It is covered in one of our Parchment fabrics, finished with a grosgrain ribbon fastened with domed studs. Each chair comes with a washable loose seat cover made in your choice of our Linen fabrics, tailored for the perfect fit and held in place using leather ribbons tied around the back legs like ballet shoes. 

Sherry is happiest with her reliable Terry. Sherry works the room, showing off her latest outfit, charming the guests. Terry's understated elegance and calming presence is the perfect fold for her.
