Our Nettle Wallpaper was inspired by a 16th century botanical print of the humble nettle weed, which we have re-imagined and drawn as a grand, scrolling pattern. The bronze-green lines following the outline of the plants are both striking and restrained, sitting on a soft, bone-white background. It works well in rooms where you want a pattern that holds its own while being discreet and it looks particularly good with colourful artworks on top. We have used it on the walls of our staircase at 188, which immediately added depth to a fairly narrow space. The design would also look wonderful in a bedroom or a sitting room.
Nettle Wallpaper is made in the UK and digitally printed which allowed us to achieve the large repeat we were after combined with a robust finish ideal for areas with higher traffic.
