

Wool Tonic
Our wools are woven in the traditional manner at a family-owned Yorkshire mill established in the 1930s. The yarn is 100% pure wool, sourced from the finest flocks in New Zealand and Australia, then spun, dyed, woven and finished in England. A tight weave with a short, dense pile gives it the smooth, fancy, felt-like appearance - soft and supple to the touch, with a gentle, natural lustre.
Wool is one of nature's most hardworking fibres: naturally fire-retardant, wrinkle-resistant and with a built-in defence against stains thanks to the lanolin that forms a barrier against liquids and dirt. It drapes beautifully for unlined curtains and is robust enough for upholstery that lasts. Available in 4 colours we often reach for in our projects:

All our fabrics have passed the Cigarette FR test, but for upholstery need to be used in combination with a suitable FR interliner or backing to meet relevant FR standards.
