Linden Wallpaper - Leaf (10m roll)

Linden is a rhythmic leafy stripe that feels both calm and decorative. The design is inspired by the avenue of Linden trees leading up to the house on the farm in Sweden where Beata grew up. Each summer their delicate helicopter seeds spin through the air and drift lazily to the ground. The pattern echoes those gently falling seeds and creates movement down the wall, while the vertical structure keeps everything orderly and elegant. Linden can make a room feel taller and slightly grander, yet the leafy form keeps it from feeling overly formal. Its easy rhythm and botanical expression brings life without competing for attention. It works beautifully in drawing rooms, bedrooms and hallways, and provides a lovely backdrop for art. 

The wallpaper is conventionally printed in England on a non-woven ground. The larger leaf stripes are printed with surface rollers, which gives them a painterly quality, while the smaller stripes are printed with flexographic rollers, producing a solid, graphic mark. This combination of techniques - known as Surflex printing - creates a gentle oscillation between the two stripes, bringing depth, rhythm and subtle texture to the design. 

The colourway Leaf is a versatile, soft green that pairs happily with both warm and cool palettes. We also use the pattern in a smaller scale for our house Fancy Lining.
